McCall, Idaho July, 2003 — A new method of watering lawns and gardens has been created that is changing the way people water. Its called Lawnbelt. Lawnbelt is a new water conduit that installs in the lawn simply by making a slit with a common flat shovel.
The ridged yet flexible Lawnbelt is then pressed into the slit. Lawnbelt is invisible, permanent and survives freeze without costly winterization procedures. Lawnbelt eliminates the need for backhoes and trenchers, soldering, toxic glues and there?s no need to tear up your lawn.
Lawnbelt is available three ways. First, as a Hidden Hose system. This allows you to run water from your spigot to your garden, dog pen, work area or to create another spigot elsewhere. Secondly as a Home Sprinkler System complete with pop-up sprinklers and all connection hardware. Finally there?s Lawnbelt Garden Border. This watering system allows you to water flower borders with directional spray heads.
This system follows contoured garden areas or to create a remote garden oasis. Lawnbelt allows the homeowner to install a complete in ground system in an afternoon. All installations connect at the spigot. The three systems are fully compatible with any standard 1/2″ sprinkler head and can easily be joined together.
Lawnbelt systems cost up to ten times less than traditional sprinkler systems and can be installed by just about anyone.
