May is Dog Health Awareness Month at Pup Life

April 29, 2004 — A healthy dog is a happy dog! Pup Life (http://www.PupLife.com), leading online retailer of healthy products for dogs, is doing its share to promote healthy lifestyles with its month long Dog Health Awareness campaign. Pup Life will be featuring dog care tips and articles advocating all aspects of healthy living including nutrition, grooming, exercise and training throughout the month, as well as offering special discounts on healthy products.

“People are certainly more concerned about their dog’s health these days,” says Pup Life co-owner, Leslie Hayes. “Organic dog food, supplements including anti-oxidants and glucosamine, and natural grooming products are just a few of the items that can provide real health benefits for dogs.”

Co-owner Eric Houtkooper points out that the growing trend in providing healthy lifestyles for dogs can be attributed to a change in attitudes towards pets nationwide. “More and more people tell us that they view their dog as a vital part of the family. They spend more time with their dog, they exercise, travel and hang out with their dog. These people are very concerned about the overall health and well-being of their dog and buying healthy dog food, treats and supplements is just a natural choice for them.”

To celebrate Dog Health Awareness Month, Pup Life is offering 20% off all natural dog supplements. Natural dog supplements provide herbal remedies made from leaves, roots, bark, flowers, and seeds that aid your dog in achieving and maintaining optimal health. Herbal remedies are not as well known or used as widely as prescription drugs. In most cases, herbal remedies are safe, effective and free from many of the side effects found in the medicines promoted by big drug companies.

“We are very picky about the products we carry, only the healthiest and safest products make the cut,” says Eric Houtkooper. “Our customers are loyal because they know that we treat their dog like a part of our family”.
