New Pet Products Feature Essential Oil Care for Coats, Skin, Paws
Grand Rapids, Michigan ? New products for dogs use essential oils to care for dry or damaged coats, skin and paws, 3 Dog Spa, Inc. announced today.
?These new lines include botanical shampoos and coat mists as well as all-natural pad balm and massage oils,? said Patricia Angerman, the firm?s president. ?We selected specific essential oils to treat conditions ranging from dry or rough coats to skin hot spots and sore pads.?
Four new shampoos include Koala Blend, for dermatitis and hot spots; Pacific Coast Blend, for rough dry skin; Northern Exposure Blend, a moisturizing formula; and Tea Tree Blend, to deter fleas and other insects.
Four coat mists keep dog coats fresh, fragrant and soft. They include Woodland Breeze, and outdoors fragrance; Citrus Breeze, a bracing fruity bouquet; warm-scented Winter Breeze; and the herbaceous aroma of Botanical Breeze.
All-natural Balm soothes rough and sore pads on dogs? paws. Eight essential oils have been hand picked for their antiseptic and anti-infectious properties. A base of shea and mango butters provides needed moisturizing nourishment to dry pads.
Another all-natural product is Serenity Now massage oil. Coupled with a brief massage, its essential oils can help relax dogs that are anxious or overstimulated. Used on a bandana or bedding, it can help reduce separation anxiety as well, because the pet will associate the scent with the soothing attention of previous massage.
