Operation VideoLink Connects Family Members with Overseas Military for Holiday Wishes
Glen Ellyn, IL ? December 3, 2003 ? Two Chicago area business people are teaming up to help military family members send personal holiday messages to their loved ones using the internet.
Ken Naumiec of Naumiec & Associates and Cheryl Shurtz of RE/MAX Suburban state that their project - dubbed ?Operation VideoLink? - will provide families the opportunity to record and send a video message using a product called video email. According to Ken Naumiec, ?It?s important for morale that the troops stay connected to their families, particularly at this time of year. This technology makes that connection more powerful - and much more personal.?
Messages will be recorded and sent on Saturday, December 20th between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. at the RE/MAX Suburban office at 1417 N. Main in Wheaton, IL. Appointments for sending messages are requested ? each session should take between 5-10 minutes.
